May 23, 2024: Dr. Wang and Dr. Bogle presented the ACOSUS project at the 2024 NSF CISE Research Expansion Grantees Meeting in Denver, CO.

April 26, 2024: Sajal Bhattarai, a SUNY Old Westbury student who worked on the ACOSUS project presented "What do transfer students have to say? - An Analysis of the Experience of Transfer Students through Topic Modeling" at the SUNY Old Westbury Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC), Long Island, NY.

April 26, 2024: NEIU students Nikunj Patel, Sanjana Motte Vishwanatha, and Deep Mandloi presented their research outcomes at the 2024 John Sargon Albazi Research and Creative Acitivities Student Symposium in Chicago, IL. Also pictured is Dr. Lizi Zhu, who served as a faculty judge for the session.

April 16, 2024: Rudy Caraballo, a SUNY Old Westbury student who worked on the ACOSUS project presented "Deciding on a College Transfer: Uncovering Transition Queries and Concerns via Reddit Topic Modeling" at the SUNY Old Westbury Student Research Day, Long Island, NY.

October 12-14, 2023: Dr. Wang attended the 2023 GMiS (Great Minds in STEM) conference alongside students from NEIU and UTEP in Pasadena, CA.

September 29, 2023: Edwin Munoz, NEIU student who worked on the ACOSUS project presented his summer research outcome at the 2023 NEIU Student Research Symposium in Chicago, IL.

August 10-12, 2023: Dr. Wan and Dr. Wang presented the TREO paper “A Survey of Student Counseling Systems: Functions, Designs, and Interactions” at the 2023 AMCIS (Americas Conference on Information Systems) conference in Panama City, Panama.

June 25-28, 2023: Dr. Bogle and Dr. Rayana presented the paper “A Preliminary Factor Analysis on the Success of Computing Major Transfer Students” at the 2023 ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education) Annual Conference and Exposition in Baltimore. MD.

April 18th, 2023: Rudy Caraballo, a SUNY Old Westbury student who worked on the ACOSUS project presented “Understanding the Decision Making Process of Transfer Students Through Social Media Data Analysis: An Application of Topic Modeling” at the SUNY Old Westbury Student Research Day, Long Island, NY.
