What are your favorite classes?

Programming 1 and 2 were definitely my favorite. They offered the building block challenges that made me fall in love with programming.

What is your most satisfying experience as a peer leader?

When the entire class starts answering questions out loud. It lets me know that they're understanding the material and are actively wanting to solve problems.

What kind of advice would you give to aspiring peer leaders?

If you want to teach, you first have to be taught. Pay attention to details. Whatever question you might have could be thrown right back at you by one of your students.

Did you have any doubts about being a peer leader and if so what are they?

Definitely didn't believe in my ability to explain things thoroughly. Most of the teaching I do as a peer leader comes from answering questions from students.

How has the peer leader experience shaped you as a person outside of school?

It makes me love explaining things and teaching people how to do things.
