What is your name?

Geno Lewis

What are your favorite classes?

My favorite class is Computer Networks and Web Development. I loved the challenge and it gave me relatable real world experiences.

What is your most satisfying experience as a peer leader?

Helping students achieve that "aha" moment. It is satisfying to help students find their goals or understand a particular concept.

What kind of advice would you give to aspiring peer leaders?

Work hard to understand the material, and be sure to practice coding outside of the classroom agenda. Extra work will help you better understand the material. Also, youtube is your friend.

Did you have any doubts about being a peer leader and if so what are they?

I did not have any doubts. I was confident in my content knowledge and my ability to support students' needs.

How has the peer leader experience shaped you as a person outside of school?

It has given me a sense of pride in the work that I do. It has also strengthened my desires to be a Computer Scientist.
