What are your favorite classes?

Software Engineering is one of my favorite classes. It's very important for me to understand the full lifecycle application development, the importance of Design, code and debug process. Building a software is not a straightforward process, so it's very important to have a deep understanding of how it's really working. Artificial Intelligence is very important on our days, it's a very challenging class as it involves sophisticated algorithms that are responsible for making a software,or a machine act smarter. Learning these algorithms extends my knowledge in software capability, and potentials. Design of Algorithm, Very challenging class as it involves sophisticated algorithms that are responsible for making a software faster, and do the work efficiently.

What is your most satisfying experience as a peer leader?

Best moment as a peer leader is when I see students more involved in class while trying to resolve challenging problems. It does make me feel that students have progressed and learned and they have a higher belief about their capability in programming.

What kind of advice would you give to aspiring peer leaders?

Be patient, and also do not hesitate to randomly pick one of the students and assign a task to him/her, that definitely pushes students to pay more attention. Feel free to ask a student to take your role, and lead for a short period of time. Exemple, hey student x, let say you are about to resolve this problem, can you explain to us how you are going to resolve it.

Did you have any doubts about being a peer leader and if so what are they?

In my first class as a peer leader, I couldn't sleep the night before, I was afraid to panic, but things did go well. Now I feel very confident and very comfortable.

How has the peer leader experience shaped you as a person outside of school?

Peer Leader activity helped me to develop my leadership abilities, and pushed me to gain more skills in leadership skills.
